Accessibility statement

pfalz.dev is an event-discovery and community-planning service for the Pfalz region. The public product is designed to keep event search, event details, legal pages, reporting forms, account access, and moderation intake usable with keyboard, screen reader, reduced-motion, and responsive layouts.

This statement was reviewed on 14 May 2026 for BFSG readiness and future-proofing against the German accessibility duties that have applied to covered consumer-facing services since 28 June 2025.

Accessibility controls

Target standard

The public site targets WCAG 2.2 AA / EN 301 549-style web accessibility as the operating baseline for BFSG readiness.

Current controls

Semantic headings, skip navigation, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus styles, reduced-motion support, and non-color-only event labels are part of the current UI.

Known limits

Third-party maps, externally linked ticket/source pages, and user-submitted media can have accessibility limits outside pfalz.dev control; key event information remains available as text.
