Terms

Terms and moderation policy

pfalz.dev is a local event-discovery and community-planning service. These terms govern accounts, event submissions, reports, venue claims, photos, direct messages, social account links, and other user-submitted content where the relevant feature is enabled.

Service scope and event accuracy

pfalz.dev does not organize listed events unless this is expressly stated on a specific listing. Dates, prices, age limits, accessibility at the venue, ticket availability, and entry rules can change without notice; check the linked organizer, venue, or ticketing source before travelling or buying tickets. If a listing is wrong, outdated, or unsafe, use the public reporting paths so the operator can review it.

Account eligibility

Create an account only if you are at least 16 years old or have valid parent/guardian authorization where required by law. Keep login credentials private and use accurate account information.

User content rules

  • Illegal content, unlawful offers, and instructions that facilitate illegal activity.
  • Harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, doxxing, or privacy-invasive content.
  • Spam, malware, deceptive links, fake accounts, scraping abuse, or attempts to bypass technical controls.
  • Infringing text, photos, logos, flyers, or event data copied beyond lawful use or permission.
  • Misleading event listings, fake venues, unsafe meetups, or ticket/payment claims that cannot be verified.

Events, sources, and scraping

Submit accurate event facts and direct source URLs whenever possible. pfalz.dev may normalize public event facts from official pages, venue pages, organizer pages, lawful ticketing pages, public feeds, and user corrections. The public feed should store normalized facts and source links rather than copied source pages, and automated access must respect robots directives, technical access controls, and machine-readable rights reservations.

If you submit an event as an organizer, venue, partner, or rights holder and explicitly accept the commercial submission acknowledgement, pfalz.dev may review the submitted factual listing for public display, newsletter inclusion, branded widgets, paid API licensing, and MCP licensing. Submission does not guarantee publication, promotion, payment, sponsorship, or API availability; every listing remains subject to moderation, rights review, and operator approval.

Newsletter and partner requests

Newsletter signups require double opt-in before receiving editions. Partner, widget, venue-claim, organizer-verification, sponsorship, featured-placement, and API-beta requests are reviewed manually and do not create a paid contract until separately agreed.

Photos and personal rights

Upload photos only if you have the required rights and permissions, including permission for recognizable people where needed. Manual uploads stay moderation-first, and removal or rights requests can be sent through /data-rights or david@blunk.cc.

Community social features

Friends, crews, direct messages, meetup matching, and live location sharing are not active in production until the operator has completed legal review, DPIA review, retention rules, and moderation operations for those higher-risk features.

Moderation and DSA notices

Moderation is handled by the operator/admin workflow. AI-assisted event enrichment may help extract or label event facts, but legal and moderation decisions are not made solely by automated processing.

  • Hide, edit, reject, or remove listings, profiles, photos, messages, reports, claims, or uploads.
  • Ask for source links, rights evidence, identity verification, venue proof, or photo permissions.
  • Suspend accounts, revoke venue/photographer privileges, preserve legal records, and restrict repeated abuse.
  • Prioritize official source pages, organizer/venue pages, lawful ticketing pages, and verified corrections.

Potentially illegal content can be reported through /dsa. Appeals can be submitted with the notice ID through the DSA contact channel. Repeated manifestly unfounded notices or abuse may be restricted after review.

External links

Source pages, ticket links, map routes, OAuth providers, and social links are third-party services. Their own terms, privacy notices, prices, availability, and accessibility controls apply once opened.

Availability, liability, and legal rights

The public event calendar and free community tools are provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted availability, completeness, and permanent preservation of user-submitted content are not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory statutory rights or liability that cannot be excluded under German law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory consumer-protection rights.

Legal notices

These terms work together with the Privacy notice, Cookie notice, Impressum, DSA page, Data-rights page, and Accessibility statement.
